| QUOTE It was reported earlier today that UFC heavyweight, Mirko Cro Cop had suffered a severe cut during sparring ahead of his latest foray into the octagon, although it seems those claims may have been a little premature.
According to The Houston Chronicle:
“The reports of Mirko Cro Cop receiving a bad cut in training that required stitches appear to be false. Cro Cop was perfectly healthy after the open workouts yesterday (with no cuts visible) and had no plans to do any more physical activity until his fight on Saturday. For what it's worth, every UFC source I've talked to, including people who would absolutely know the true story, said they haven't heard anything about Cro Cop receiving a cut.”
Cro Cop will now take now Anthony Perosh at UFC 110, a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who has made no secret that he intends to take down the Croatian and choke him out. Will the former PRIDE legend rebound from his recent setback or could this be the final nail in the coffin?
