| QUOTE “Ultimate Fighter” season eight star, Krzysztof Soszynski got back to winning ways tonight in Sydney, Australia, picking up an impressive third round stoppage win over UFC veteran, Stephan Bonnar due to a cut.
Soszynski dominated the proceedings, taking the center of the octagon and dominating much of the stand-up for the three rounds. Bonnar did rally at times, landing some of his trademark taekwondo moves but Soszynski’s aggressive style was too much. Already bleeding coming into the third, Bonnar’s cut widened significantly in the first minute when Soszynski landed an inadvertant headbutt, forcing the referee to seek the doctors advice before stopping the fight.
Soszynski has now won seven of his last eight fights with his only loss coming at the hands of Brandon Vera. Could this be the year that we see the Tam Quest fighter move into title contention? As for Bonnar, this is his third defeat in a row, although judging by what UFC President, Dana White had to say earlier this week he has nothing to worry about.
