QUOTE MMB can reveal that a middleweight contest between UK star, Michael “The Count” Bisping and Dan Miller is in the works for UFC 114 on May 29th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A source close to one of the two men revealed the news to MMB earlier today, explaining that verbal agreements are in place and that bout agreements are set to be issued in the coming days.
Bisping will be looking to rebound following his close unanimous decision loss to Wanderlei Silva at UFC 110 in Australia. Prior to that the Brit walked through Canadian veteran, Dennis Kang in his hometown of Manchester in November.
As for Miller, he was last seen in action at UFC 109 in February when he lost a drab affair to middleweight title contender, Demian Maia. That was his second defeat on the spin after losing to Chael Sonnen at UFC 98 in May.
UFC 114 will be headlined by the light heavyweight clash between Bisping’s Wolfslair team mate, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and fellow “Ultimate Fighter” season ten coach, Rashad Evans. |
