Seth Petruzelli vs. Houston Alexander in the works for April 23rd event

A light heavyweight contest between “Kimbo Slice” slayer, Seth Petruzelli and the man recently cut from the UFC having lost to the former street fighter, Houston Alexander, is apparently in the works for an April 23rd show in Worcester.

According to the Boston Herald, both fighters have verbally agreed to the fight with bout agreements expected to be issued in the coming days.

Petruzelli is currently on an impressive three fight winning streak which includes the fourteen second knockout of “Kimbo Slice” during the days of EliteXC. Alexander however seems to be on the slide after losing five of his last six fights with culminated in him being cut from the UFC. He has since lost to Joey Beltran via second round TKO.
